Lacazette can put his pace to good use when attempting to run with the ball in and around the opposition penalty box. He excels at generating a yard of space for himself to get a few shots in at goal and doesn’t mind running the channels to provide an outlet for his teammates at the back.
The French forward is a good finisher in front of the opponent’s goal and can also contribute by picking up the odd assist from time to time. However, he has failed to earn regular first-team starts at North London this season and has got less than 12 months remaining in his Arsenal contract.
Thus, Everton would be wise to engineer a cut-price move to land Lacazette when the transfer window reopens in January. The Frenchman will bring a lot of quality to Rafael Benitez’s frontline.
