Tottenham Hotspur‘s winning run in the Premier League comes to an end as they stumbled to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of London rivals Crystal Palace. It was a subdued performance from the Lilywhites, as they never really managed to impose themselves and lacked temperament, with goals from Wilfried Zaha and Odsonne Edouard sealing their fate.

Hugo Lloris: 6/10
Hugo Lloris was solid enough in between the Tottenham goal, keeping his side in the game. Unfortunately, he couldn’t keep out Zaha’s penalty in the second half.
Emerson Royal: 3/10
Not a great performance from Emerson Royal, who was overrun by Zaha for a large part of the game. Needs to improve his defensive ability in order to thrive under Nuno.
Japhet Tanganga: 4/10
Japhet Tanganga was good defensively, but his lack of temperament saw him getting involved in a brawl with Zaha. Later received a deserved second yellow for a poor tackle on Jordan Ayew.
Eric Dier: N/A
Eric Dier’s afternoon was cut short after he picked up an injury inside the first ten minutes. Replaced by Joe Rodon in the 12th minute.
Sergio Reguilon: 6/10
Sergio Reguilon’s offensive work-rate was restricted due to Palace’s dominance in the game. The left-back did make a good clearance late in the game.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: 6/10
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg kept fighting for his team, but it was not one of his best performances as Palace remained resilient in the middle of the park.
Harry Winks: 5/10
Harry Winks didn’t provide much to the table after being given a rare starting opportunity. He was replaced in the second half, shortly after Tanganga’s dismissal.
Oliver Skipp: 5/10
Oliver Skipp looked unfit to say the least, often getting bullied by the Palace midfielders. It wasn’t a good look for the young midfielder, who couldn’t influence the game at all.
Lucas Moura: 5.5/10
Lucas Moura didn’t provide anything to the table going forward, and it was evident that Tottenham were missing the presence of Son Heung-Min.
Dele Alli: 5/10
Dele Alli endured a difficult game in the final third, struggling to impose himself in possession. The Englishman simply wasn’t involved enough to make any difference going forward.
Harry Kane: 5/10
Harry Kane was anonymous for almost the entirety of the game. He struggled with a lack of service, and it appears Nuno’s tactics have restricted his creative game.
SUBSTITUTES
Joe Rodon: 7/10
Joe Rodon was excellent and by far Tottenham’s best player of the night, after replacing Dier early on in the game. Certainly deserves a start on the next one.
Ben Davies: 4/10
While Rodon was brilliant, Ben Davies was equally awful as he conceded the penalty that made all the difference.
