If a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes is believed to be true, Liverpool are keeping close tabs on Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler over a potential transfer next summer. The Reds had a quiet window in terms of incomings as they decided not to strengthen the attack or midfield despite the egress of Xherdan Shaqiri and Georginio Wijnaldum.
Although the Reds strengthened the defence by tying down Ibrahima Konaté, their summer window has been no match compared to fellow title contenders Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United.
