Pep Guardiola refused to shake hands with Cesc Fabregas after the Manchester City- Chelsea match. Fabregas was handed a rare start by Antonio Conte as Chelsea cruised to a 3-1 win against City.
Gary Cahill’s own goal had given the lead to City but Diego Costa cancelled the lead with a brilliant finish. Willian and Eden Hazard then sealed the final nail in City’s coffin as Chelsea continue to maintain their place in the top intact.
The game ended in an ugly fashion as players from both teams got engaged in a fight. The incident started following City Striker Sergio Aguero got the marching orders for a dangerous two-footed lunge on defender David Luiz.
Fernandinho was also sent off as he was seen grabbing the neck of Cesc Fabregas although it was reported that Fabregas started the argument by slapping the Brazilian which might have been overlooked by the match officials.
