Franck Kessie has been a success at AC Milan since joining the club in 2017. He has established himself as one of the best midfielders in Serie A, having already featured in almost 200 competitive appearances for the Rossoneri.
A central midfielder by trade, Kessie was initially known for his ability to break up play in the middle of the park. His unmatched stamina, combined with a commendable work ethic had made him an ideal cog in the second line of press for Milan.

Moussa Sissoko lacks any quality on the ball while Harry Winks struggles at everything apart from passing the ball. Tanguy Ndombele, on the other hand, is far too inconsistent and is not wanted by new coach Nuno Espirito Santo.
The acquisition of someone like Kessie, in that regard, could replenish the Spurs midfield. The Ivorian’s work ethic and ability his influence in the final third make him an ideal partner for Hojbjerg in Tottenham’s double-pivot.
Moreover, the Milan star has a considerable amount of experience at the highest level of football, having featured in 173 games in the Italian top-flight while winning 44 caps for the Ivorian national team. This vault of experience indeed makes Kessie a viable option for Tottenham this summer.
