According to reports, Juventus have won the race to sign Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie. A host of clubs including Manchester United had been chasing the midfielder but Juventus have sealed the move and will reportedly pay £17m to Atalanta for the services of the player.
The teenager has emerged as one of the best midfielders of the Serie A. The Ivory Coast international is enjoying a glittering season with the Serie A club bagging five goals and assisting one from Central midfield. The 19-year old has a very good technique, is very powerful and is a very good passer of the ball.
Manchester United are currently sixth in the Premier League and Jose Mourinho wanted to add another player to his midfield which already consists of Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera, Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick. But it would have been difficult for the midfielder to get into the first team immediately if he does sign for the English outfit.
