Jordan Pickford had a mixed season overall between the sticks. Skipper Seamus Coleman must operate from his usual right-back spot, whereas Lucas Digne is expected to impress once more from the left with his usual overlapping runs, crosses and link-up football. Mason Holgate would make way for Keane in such a scenario, particularly after his erroneus outing versus the Villans.
Midfield
Although the injury misfortune continues for Jean-Philippe Gbamin, Ancelotti is delighted to welcome back Abdoulaye Doucoure who has recovered from an ankle injury. The Frenchman must return to the starting lineup straightaway and combine with Allan as a double pivot deep down the midfield.
With James Rodriguez ruled out with a calf strain, Alex Iwobi must keep his place down the right-hand flank.
