In a recent report, Mundo Deportivo has mentioned that Manchester United are showing interest in recruiting Raphael Varane this summer. However, it is believed that the Red Devils could face competition in the form of Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea in pursuit of his services at the end of this season (via Mundo Deportivo).
Varane’s Excellent Form In League Football This Season
Varane has once again performed at a high level for Los Blancos this season after putting in a series of commanding displays at the centre of Zinedine Zidane’s defence. The French defensive ace has made 38 appearances for the Madrid giants this term, netting two goals in the process across all fronts.
The Lille-born centre-half has enjoyed a decent run of form on the defensive third of the field as he is averaging 0.7 tackles, 1.2 interceptions and 3.7 clearances per 90 minutes in this La Liga campaign.
