Bournemouth will host Liverpool at Dean Court on Sunday on matchday 14 in the Premier League. The Reds are 15 games unbeaten in all competitions now and will be looking to stretch their streak to 16. Bournemouth are not a team who play deep and Liverpool should not find it hard to find their way past the Cherries’ defence. With the kind of attacking threat Liverpool come with, the only way to stop them is to ‘park a bus’ but will Eddie Howe adapt that system? Unlikely.
The Cherries are having a decent season this time out but their recent form has been poor. Howe has managed to guide his side to win just once in the last four games. They lost 3-1 to Arsenal last weekend and will be massive underdogs for the game.
On-loan midfielder Jack Wilshere is set to return to the Cherries’ lineup after sitting out the loss against his parent club, while former Liverpool duo Jordon Ibe and Brad Smith could face their former team-mates.
Here is the predicted Bournemouth lineup against Liverpool.
Defence
The first-choice keeper Artur Boruc is likely to miss with a minor injury. So, Adam Federici is likely to keep his place between the sticks. Skipper Simon Francis is likely to start in the right-back position.
Nathan Ake and Steve Cook are likely to start at the heart of the Bournemouth defence. Charlie Daniels could to miss the game with a minor knock and, therefore, former Liverpool youth graduate Brad Smith might get to start against his former club.
