Liverpool travel to Dean Court to face Bournemouth on Sunday and will be hopeful of maintaining their unbeaten run and adding another three points to their total. From what we have seen so far, Liverpool look like a credible title contender this time out. However, the Reds have a number of their key players unavailable in the weekend against Bournemouth. Coutinho is likely to miss almost a month after sustaining a nasty ankle injury. Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge are both likely to miss through injuries adding further concern to Klopp.
The Reds are just one point off the top of the table, and with Chelsea & Manchester City up against each other this weekend, they will be looking to capitalise on one or both rivals. Bournemouth have been pretty decent this season and are sitting 12th in the table with 15 points. They are on the back of a 3-1 loss against Arsenal last weekend but have what it takes to stun the Reds.
Liverpool brushed aside Leeds United in the midweek in the quarter-final of the League Cup and will be the major favourites in this game. Here is the predicted Liverpool lineup against Bournemouth.
Defence
Loris Karius will replace Simon Mignolet under the bar. Joel Matip is likely to shake off a minor knock to keep his place at the heart of Liverpool defence alongside Dejan Lovren. Nathaniel Clyne will start at right-back and will be looking to trouble Bournemouth with his attacking forays.
James Milner has been the standout performer at left-back for Liverpool this season and will keep his place. Liverpool are on the back of successive Premier League clean sheets for the first time this season and will look to make it three in a row.
Midfield
Jordan Henderson will keep his place at the base of the midfield trio. Both Georginio Wijnaldum and Emre Can played in the midweek against Leeds and are likely to keep their places in midfield. Adam Lallana will be a big miss for Liverpool.
Attack
Roberto Firmino is likely to make his way back from injury to start against Bournemouth on Sunday. The Brazilian forward is likely to start on the left flank. Sadio Mane has not been at his usual best in the last three games and will be keen to get back to his usual self. He will start on the right flank.
Divock Origi has scored two in two games and will be looking to add to his tally as he starts up front.
