It is believed that the Reds are willing to invest in recruiting the Spanish speedster as he ticks all the right boxes in terms of what they are looking for before the start of the new campaign (via El Gol Digital).
Traore’s Unimpressive Form In English Football This Season
The 25-year-old has endured a frustrating season at the Molineux Stadium so far as he has struggled to be productive with his performances from the right side of Nuno Espirito Santo’s attack. Traore has banged in one goal and provided one assist in 32 matches for Wolves this term on all fronts.
Despite his poor numbers in front of the opponent’s goal, the Spanish wing wizard deserves credit for averaging 0.9 shots, 1.4 key passes and 4.2 dribbles per game in this Premier League campaign. However, he has sometimes been a bit sloppy when distributing possession in the final third after making 74.9% of his attempted passes in the English first division (stats via whoscored).
Traore is having a tough time without his prolific teammate, Raul Jimenez, who has missed a significant chunk of this campaign because of a face injury. Maybe the Spaniard could be tempted with a chance to join the Reds if Jurgen Klopp decides to launch a move for him in this off-season.

Traore is one of the quickest players in Europe and can turn on the afterburners to get past multiple defenders with ease. He is a powerful runner with the ball and can use his athleticism to keep hold of the ball in tight spaces.
The former Barcelona youngster can get himself into some dangerous areas in the final third. He can get to the byline at will to whip in some promising crosses into the opponent’s penalty area. However, his decision-making in the final third has often let him down this season which Klopp would be looking to rectify if he can bring him to Anfield this summer.
Traore can be an unstoppable force when left isolated in a 1v1 footrace with his marker out on the wide areas. Hence, he could be a good option for Klopp to call upon from the bench and is good enough to serve as an upgrade on Divock Origi who has struggled to impress at Anfield this season. At 25, Traore is yet to enter his prime, so the Reds can expect to get the best out of him if they can get a deal done for the player during the summer transfer window.
