Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has revealed that Victor Moses is the toughest opponent he has ever faced.
Moses has been a revelation in this season and has transformed himself completely. Conte changed the Nigerian’s playing position from a right winger to right wing back and since then he is having a stupendous season.
The 25-year-old has appeared in 12 matches in the Premier League this term and has scored three goals including the winner against Tottenham Hotspur last week.
Luke Shaw said, “A lot of people rinse me for it, but Moses is the toughest opponent.
“The power and strength he had… so direct, he never gave me a second to breathe.
“I was pretty young, it was either my first or second season with Southampton, he was, now when I think back, my toughest game I’ve had.”
On the contrary, the United left-back has been struggling in this season due to various injuries and lack of form. He was not in the squad in the last league match against West Ham United and had been criticised by United manager Jose Mourinho publicly recently.
