Manchester United locked horns with AC Milan at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they looked to secure a positive result on their home turf. The visitors controlled the tempo of the match for the entirety of the first-half as they found the back of the net on a couple of occasions; however, the goals were ruled out due to offside and handball, respectively. It was Amad Diallo’s headed goal that broke the deadlock early into the second half. However, Simon Kjaer’s goal in the added time ended up deciding the fate of the game as it earned Pioli’s men a 1-1 draw at the end of the day.

Dean Henderson – 7/10
The English shot-stopper had some nervy moments in the first half. Nonetheless, he made some really good saves over the course of the game before finally conceding an unfortunate goal in added time.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 6.5/10
The English full-back was a rock at the back down the right-hand side. He occasionally made runs into the opposition half to support Mason Greenwood.
Eric Bailly – 6.5/10
The Ivorian centre-back hardly put a foot wrong throughout the game. He made several good blocks and challenges to neutralise the threats possesses by the Milan frontmen.
Harry Maguire – 6/10
The skipper arguably had the best chance to break the deadlock around the 38-minute-mark, but he pathetically failed to put the ball past Donnarumma from a yard out.
Alex Telles – 6.5/10
Looked lively down the left flank and delivered some good crosses into the box.
Nemanja Matic – 6/10
The Serbian midfielder looked rather sluggish at the centre of the park tonight. He held on to the ball for a bit too long on a couple of occasions and faced significant issues in stopping the opposition attackers from getting past him.
Scott McTominay – 6.5/10
The Scottish international was assigned a more defensive role today. He put in some good tackles to win the ball back for his side and had a decent game overall.
Mason Greenwood – 6/10
The English youngster didn’t seem too involved in the attacking gameplay tonight.
Bruno Fernandes – 7/10
The Portuguese playmaker couldn’t reach his usual standards in the first half; however, he picked up an assist early into the second-half as he played a brilliant long ball to Amad Diallo, which was subsequently converted.
Daniel James – 6/10
The Englishman’s pace created menace for the Milan defence, but he missed an absolute sitter in the 72nd-minute.
Anthony Martial – 6/10
The Frenchman didn’t look too convincing in the first forty-five minutes and was later replaced by Amad Diallo at half-time.

Amad Diallo – 7.5/10
It took Diallo five minutes to find the back of the net after coming on as he headed the ball past Donnarumma around the 50-minute-mark. He displayed a high work-rate as well.

Added some solidity to the hosts’ midfield.

The young left-back didn’t have too much to do after coming on.
