Albrighton And Under To Start | 4-2-3-1 Leicester City Predicted Lineup Vs Brighton

Leicester City will clash heads with Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium on Saturday night as they look to return to winning ways in the Premier League. The Foxes were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Burnley at Turf Moor in midweek, so they will be eager to secure a positive result versus the Seagulls this weekend.

Brendan Rodgers will revert to a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to his side for this game. Both Marc Albrighton and Cengiz Under could start for the East Midlands outfit while Hamza Choudhury and Nampalys Mendy drops to the bench.

Defence

Kasper Schmeichel will be a nailed-on starter in goal for the Foxes after he let in one goal versus the Clarets last weekend. Daniel Amartey will function alongside Caglar Soyuncu at the centre of the Leicester backline as they focus on neutralising the threat of Brighton’s Neal Maupay and Danny Welbeck during the game.

Ricardo Pereira will probably get the nod to operate at right-back while Timothy Castagne looks to impress on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to be a bit adventurous in the opposition half so that they can create enough chances for Jamie Vardy to get his name on the scoresheet.

Midfield

Youri Tielemans will anchor the midfield along with Wilfred Ndidi as they try to dominate the battle at the centre of the park and fashion some meaningful openings in the final third. The talented trio of Marc Albrighton, Kelechi Iheanacho and Cengiz Under will operate just ahead of them as part of the Foxes attack.

As mentioned earlier, Hamza Choudhury and Nampalys Mendy will have to be content with a place on the bench but could come to make an impact in the second half if needed.

Attack

Jamie Vardy will once again spearhead Rodgers’ attack up top. The English marksman has gotten chances at a premium in the Premier League of late, so he can expect a tough night’s work when he laces up to face off against the Seagulls defenders this weekend.
