Arsenal have some growing concerns over Alexis Sanchez’s future as Arsene Wenger has said that it’s very important to keep hold of him.
Sanchez has been the driving force behind Arsenal in this season. The Chilean, who was moved further upfront by Wenger, has already netted 10 goals for the Gunners. There has been speculation that if Arsenal fail to fulfil his demand he might leave the club. A number of clubs including Inter Milan have already expressed their intentions to sign the player.
Sanchez’s contract is due to expire at the end of next season and he has been demanding an exorbitant rise in his current wage, in the tune of £250,000 a week. Arsenal are reportedly ready to give £180,000 a week but the Ex-Barcelona player is not satisfied.
Sanchez continued his magnificent form as he scored a brace as the Gunners rallied on to beat Bournemouth 3-1 on Sunday.
On being asked about the Chilean’s future, Wenger replied, “How important it is, I don’t know. We will not sort it tonight.
“We have some time in front of us. You (the media) like us to spend money, so you should be happy!”
