Normalcy returned to the Arsenal camp as they finished their November with a 3-0 win against Bournemouth and the scoreline could not be anymore deceiving. It is not quite understandable whether it’s the November curse or faltering performances from the Gunners that took the match right to the wires till Arsenal could confidently claim a win, which otherwise looked like a routine win for the Gunners.
However, Arsene Wenger for once seemed to have made most of the team selection right this time, which made Arsenal a real threat every single time they countered. There was a whole different intent in their movement, which was clearly missing in their last three matches.
Their league run for November ends with this match, and it has yet again pushed the Gunners to new conundrums like every year. Not only points but this time it has robbed Arsenal of their right backs, which will remain a huge concern for them in the upcoming games.
Arsenal out of right backs
It was for the first time for over one and a half year that Mathieu Debuchy looked poised at the right-back position and everyone was just relishing their sight of relief and snap! He pulled a hamstring.
Arsenal have hugely missed Hector Bellerin and Carl Jenkinson has made that feeling more like a penance for all Arsenal fans. Hence, when they saw Debuchy passing and moving with such flair, they had a slight happiness like the warmth that a tinge of sunshine brings on a chilly November mornings during early kickoffs at Emirates.
But, it was not to happen and Arsenal will again have to turn to Jenkinson for the next few fixtures.
