Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Arsenal are planning to offer midfielder Jack Wilshere a brand new contract in the New Year.
Wenger sent the player on loan to Bournemouth and the midfielder has been decent and is slowly settling into the team.
Eddie Howe has been using him in advanced midfield position as a number 10. Wilshere also got an England call up to by Gareth Southgate but didn’t feature for them. He has been also linked with a permanent switch to the Cherries.
But Arsene Wenger confirmed that the player will be offered a contract extension, “Yeah of course it was a good decision or him to go to Bournemouth because he gets regular football.
“Form the observations I get from the people who watch him he’s getting stronger every week. He’s getting regular football, maybe not every three days, but he’s getting stronger every day.”
“He’s in top form, they’ll miss him,” he added.
