West Ham United will entertain Manchester United at the London Stadium on Saturday evening looking to maintain their impressive form in the Premier League. The Hammers managed to secure a narrow 2-1 win over Aston Villa on Monday night and are currently occupying the fifth spot in the league standings. Hence, they will be quietly confident about their chances of success against the Red Devils this weekend.
David Moyes will probably stick with his preferred 3-4-3 formation and might be inclined to name an unchanged side for this league clash at the English capital. However, the East London outfit will be sweating on the fitness of Andriy Yarmolenko ahead of this contest versus Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men.
3-4-3 West Ham United Predicted Lineup To Face Manchester United
Defence
Łukasz Fabiański will resume his duties in the Hammers goal after he kept two clean sheets in his last three starts in the Premier League. Moyes will opt for a back three of Fabian Balbuena, Angelo Ogbonna and Aaron Cresswell as they try to stop the Red Devils from finding the back of the net this weekend.
Issa Diop will have to be content with a spot on the bench but could come on to offer some bite and steel in defence if the Hammers have a lead to protect late in the game.
Midfield
Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek will operate as the holding midfielders as they look to stop the opposition from dominating the midfield battle at the centre of the park. Arthur Masuaku will continue to feature on the left flank while Vladimír Coufal fills in on the other side as the right wing-back.
Mark Noble and Ben Johnson will be available for selection on the West Ham bench as they wait for their opportunity to shine as the impact substitutes in the second half if required.
Attack
Pablo Fornals, Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen will make up the Hammers frontline. Bowen got his name on the scoresheet versus the Villans earlier this week which will give him a confidence boost heading into this showdown at the London Stadium this weekend.
Said Benrahma and Sebastien Haller will start on the bench but could come on to influence the game in the latter stages of the game if needed.
