Tottenham Hotspur locked horns with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier this evening hoping to secure a victory in the London derby. Spurs soaked a lot of the Blues pressure in the first half and went into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.
Jose Mourinho’s players kept a good shape at the back in the second 45 minutes and managed to grind out a 0-0 draw after the full-time whistle. The result kept the North London giants at the top of the Premier League table which will please Mourinho.
Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham player fared during the clash against the Blues.
GK: Hugo Lloris – 7.5/10
The French keeper was hardly tested during the game but pulled off a world-class save to deny Mason Mount in the second half and keep his clean sheet intact.
RB: Serge Aurier – 6/10
He coped with the threat of Timo Werner quite well but was lacklustre in the opposition half. Still, it was a battling display from him today.
CB: Joe Rodon – 7/10
Rodon didn’t let the occasion get to him and produced a matured display at the heart of Mourinho’s defence. However, he made a costly error late in the game which went unpunished by Olivier Giroud.
CB: Eric Dier – 6.5/10
The English defender kept a solid shape in defence but gave away the ball a few times during the 90 minutes. However, he did enough work defensively to secure the clean sheet.
LB: Sergio Regulion – 6.5/10
He had an up and down game but did well to leave Hakim Ziyech frustrated out on the wide areas.
CM: Pierre-Emile Højbjerg – 7/10
The former Southampton midfield ace formed a solid partnership with Sissoko in midfield and worked tirelessly to stop some of the Chelsea attacks.
CM: Moussa Sissoko – 7/10
Sissoko worked his socks off in providing adequate protection for his teammates at the back. He deserves a lot of credit for producing another unsung performance today.
LW: Steven Bergwijn – 6/10
He had some bright moments but never looked like he had a goal in him.
CAM: Tanguy Ndombele – 6/10
Ndombele dropped back to help out in defence but was lacklustre in the attacking third of the pitch.
RW: Heung-min Son – 5/10
The South Korean international struggled to get himself involved in the game as he was often outnumbered by the Chelsea defenders.
ST: Harry Kane – 6/10
The English striker made a couple of decent chances during the game but didn’t get any real chance to find the back of the net.

CAM: Giovani Lo Celso – 5/10
Lo Celso offered very little after coming on to the field.
LB: Ben Davies – N/A
He didn’t have enough time to make an impact.
RW: Lucas Moura – N/A
