Liverpool could be a possible destination for Steven Gerrard when his contract with MLS side LA Galaxy expires.
Gerrard is believed to have turned down a coaching offer from MK Dons. The League one side are currently struggling as they are in 21st place in the points table. They recently got rid of their coach Karl Robinson and were keen to rope in the ex-England international.
Gerrard has been going through his UEFA coaching license and is on the verge of completion. The 36-year-old had earlier made it clear that he would only return to Premier League as a Liverpool player. He will be leaving LA Galaxy in December when his contract will expire but hasn’t decided on his future course of action.
MK Dons are currently in the relegation zone and had also approached Frank Lampard but the ex-Chelsea midfielder turned down the offer. Gerrard has been linked with a coaching role at Liverpool but an offer is unlikely to come.
