West Ham United will lock horns with Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday evening hoping to grind out a result on the road. The Hammers are unbeaten in their last three matches in the Premier League, so they could prove to be a tough nut to crack for the Reds this weekend.
David Moyes will stick with his favoured 3-4-3 formation and might name the same eleven that started in the impressive 1-1 draw versus Manchester City last week. Michail Antonio is a slight doubt but should recover in time to lead the line for the East London outfit up top.
3-4-3 West Ham United Predicted Lineup To Face Liverpool
Defence
Łukasz Fabiański will take his rightful place in between the sticks for the Hammers despite shipping in four goals in his past two starts. West Ham are expected to opt for the back three of Aaron Cresswell, Angelo Ogbonna and Fabian Balbuena for this upcoming showdown at Merseyside.
All three defenders will need to be at their best if they are to have any chance of stopping the Liverpool attackers from scoring this weekend. Issa Diop will have to settle for a place on the bench but could come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Midfield
Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek will anchor the midfield as they focus on restricting the Liverpool midfielders from creating too many chances during the game. Arthur Masuaku will probably lineup on the left-wing while Vladimír Coufal hopes to produce another industrious performance down the right flank. Both of them will be tested a lot defensively, so they have to make it a priority to track back some of the opposition’s runs out on the wide areas.
Mark Noble, Manuel Lanzini and Robert Snodgrass could be called upon from the bench if the away side require more protection and energy in their midfield during the latter stages of the contest.
Attack
Pablo Fornals, Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen will make up David Moyes’ frontline. The talented trio will have to find a way to interchange possession amongst each other and cause a few problems for the Liverpool defenders on the counter.
Andriy Yarmolenko and Sebastien Haller will have to settle for a spot on the bench but might feature after the half-time interval if Moyes decides to call upon their services.
