Liverpool are leading the race to sign Dinamo Zagreb wonderkid Ante Coric. The 19-year-old is valued at around £15m.
Zagreb are reportedly ready to sell the midfielder in January and have been searching for potential buyers. He has been linked with the club before but chose to stay at Zagreb. Manchester City had almost signed him but when he came to know that they would send him on loan he himself pulled out from the transfer.
Klopp would love to have the player at the Anfield. He recently signed Marko Grujic from Red Star Belgrade and the 19-year-old could soon follow the suit. An avid dribbler of the ball, Coric has amazing ball control and would be a huge hit in Klopp’s possession based football.
The Croatian midfielder will face stiff competition for a first-team spot with Roberto Firmino , Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho ahead in the pecking order.
Tottenham Hotspur are also believed to be interested in the player and will battle Liverpool for the services of the attacking midfielder.
