Brendan Rodgers will stick with his 4-1-4-1 formation for this game and could offer Marc Albrighton a starting place which would see Ayoze Perez be demoted to the bench. Jonny Evans remains suspended for this clash while Wes Morgan will be in a race against time to be passed fit this weekend.

Defence
Kasper Schmeichel will operate in between the sticks for Leicester after securing a well-deserved clean sheet versus the Baggies in the opening weekend of the Premier League season. Wilfred Ndidi will once again lineup as a makeshift centre-back in the absence of Evans. The Nigerian talent will partner Caglar Soyuncu at the centre of Rodgers’ defence as they try to keep Burnley’s Jay Rodriguez and Chris Wood quiet throughout the 90 minutes.
Timothy Castagne managed to open the goal-scoring from the right-back position in his last outing, so he will be full of confidence going into this contest at the East Midlands. James Justin is expected to play on the other side as a makeshift left-back.
Midfield
Nampalys Mendy will assume the duties of a deep-lying, holding midfielder as he looks to keep things tidy in midfield and provide adequate protection for his teammates at the back. The dynamic duo of Dennis Praet and Youri Tielemans will play just ahead of him and will carry most of the creative workload in the opposition half.
Harvey Barnes could be a potent threat on the left flank due to his quickness and ability to get to the byline. We can expect Albrighton to work hard and offer some variety to Rodgers’ attack on the right-wing.
James Maddison might have to settle for a place on the bench as he looks to come on and make an impact in the second half if required.

Jamie Vardy will spearhead Rodgers’ attack in the decisive end of the pitch. The English marksman scored a brace from the penalty spot against the Baggies earlier this month. Hence, he might fancy his chances of having another productive display when he laces up to take on the Clarets defenders this weekend.
