The Serie A marksman enjoyed a terrific season at San Paolo Stadium as he produced a series of fruitful displays as the centre-figure of Gennaro Gattuso’s attack. Milik banged in 14 goals in 35 appearances for the Italian giants in the previous campaign across all fronts. However, he struggled to create too many meaningful openings in the final third and ended the season without an assist to show for his efforts.
The 51-capped Poland international showed some consistency by averaging 2.6 shots and 0.7 key passes per match in the Italian top-flight and the UEFA Champions League last season. However, Milik’s campaign was disrupted by multiple injuries which have hampered his progress at Naples over the past year.
