Laurent Koscielny is set to extend his stay at The Emirates as he is on the verge of signing a new contract with Arsenal. His contract is scheduled to expire at the end of the season.
The 31 year old has agreed on terms for a new four year deal that will keep him at the club until 2020. An announcement is imminent and it could happen just before their Champions League match against Paris Saint Germain next week.
Koscielny was relatively new when he was introduced to the Premier League having signed for The Gunners from FC Lorient. But as days passed on, he went on to become one of the most composed and organised centre backs of the Premier League.
Arsenal have the knack of losing their players to rivals at their prime but this time Wenger doesn’t want to take a chance. Hector Bellerin recently pledged his future by signing on the dotted line and talks are going on with Mesut Ozil for a new contract.
