Antonio Conte has assured that Cesc Fabregas and Oscar will be staying at Chelsea. Both the midfielders have been linked with a transfer in January. West Ham United have offered an escape route to Fabregas as they are very eager to take him. Inter have shown interest in Oscar who hasn’t impressed Conte in this season. Since Conte has opted to play with 3-4-3, the two midfielders haven’t got a chance as N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic have overshadowed them.
Fabregas is ready to play after a thigh injury and will probably start from the bench. The Italian gaffer has said that both the players are an important part of his strategy, “Oscar’s future is Chelsea Chelsea, full stop. For me, Oscar is an important player in the squad.
“He’s in good form. It’s logical I have to take the starting XI every week, but Oscar is a great player. For me, he stays at Chelsea.
“It’s important that this message arrives for all. But Oscar will stay with us because I consider him an important player for Chelsea.”
On being asked about Fabregas the gaffer answered, “Fabregas? Yes. Now he is in good shape. He’s available for Sunday, for sure. The same speech as for Oscar. I anticipate this question.”
