Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino claims that both Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris are very happy at White Hart Lane and will soon extend their stay.
There have been rumours regarding their future. Kane and Lloris both rejected a new contract as they were demanding a significant pay rise to their current wages. Kane is currently on £50,000 a week salary while the Spurs custodian pockets £80,000 a week.
Pochettino insisted that the duo are very happy and remain a key part of his strategy. “They’re very happy to be here and we are happy they’re here.
“Maybe there are a lot of rumours that can affect our fans but the fans need to have no worries because the players show their commitment to the club – they want to be here for the long term.
“I think the club and the players are talking about maybe improving or having extended contracts. In the future I think it’s not a big problem to do.”
