Hugo Lloris 6/10
Hugo Lloris was unlucky to miss out on the clean sheet as he could have done nothing to save Schlupp’s powerful strike in the second half. He had nothing to do otherwise as Crystal Palace only mustered two shots on target, with the other one being a tame effort coming in the first half.
Serge Aurier 5/10
Serge Aurier has received a lot of empathy following the murder of his brother. But it was another inconsistent display from the Ivorian, who struggled to remain solid at right-back, despite making a few good tackles.
Toby Alderweireld 7/10
Toby Alderweireld actually showed a lot of composure and helped Tottenham remain solid for the most period of the game. The Belgian’s experience has become crucial for Mourinho’s men.
Eric Dier 5/10
Returning to the side after facing a suspension, Eric Dier wasn’t particularly impressive in dealing with the threat of Palace attackers. It will be interesting to see what the future has in store for the English international this summer.
Ben Davies 5/10
Much like Aurier, Ben Davies had a disappointing game in the fullback role. The Welshman wasn’t consistent with his forays down the flanks, apart from one or two good crosses. He certainly needs to improve his game.
Moussa Sissoko 5.5/10
Once again, Moussa Sissoko’s dynamism and athleticism came at the cost of Spurs occasionally being inconsistent in their build-up play as the Frenchman showed no technical quality whatsoever. His poor touches and loss of concentration don’t bode well for him individually.
Harry Winks 4/10
Harry Winks showed precisely why he gets criticised for his lack of consistency as the Englishman struggled to impose his presence in the middle of the park. His passing was not up to the mark as he got caught in Palace’s second line of press.
Lucas Moura 5/10
Usually one of the liveliest players for Tottenham, Lucas Moura didn’t shine today as he often lacked the end product, which has become a problem for the Brazilian. He must improve his attacking game.
Giovani Lo Celso 6.5/10
Placing a perfect ball to feed Kane for the opener was the only real highlight for Giovani Lo Celso’s performance this evening. The Argentine failed to make an impact in the number nine role and was rightly taken off by Mourinho around the hour mark.
Son Heung-Min 6/10
An odd game for Son Heung-Min, who looked very blunt going forward. The South Korean international failed to provide the services required in the final third. As a result, Tottenham struggled to get any clear sight to the goal.
Harry Kane 7.5/10
Kane had virtually no services this evening. However, the English international had showcased why he is one of the best strikers in the world when he produced an excellent finish to score in the 13th minute. He is slowly starting to find his feet under Mourinho.

Replaced Lo Celso around the hour mark, but failed to make the desired impact in the final third. His pace and trickery did provide a real spark though.
