David Moyes’ West Ham United side picked up an important victory in the relegation battle, after thrashing Norwich City by a 4-0 scoreline tonight. The Hammers were the dominant force in the fixture right from the off, and the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Mark Noble were running things from their roles in the front-line. Michail Antonio was the London club’s main man tonight though, as he ended the fixture with four goals to his name, thereby doubling his tally for the season in just a single match.
Here Are The West Ham United Player Ratings Vs Norwich City:
West Ham United Player Ratings Vs Norwich City
Lukasz Fabianski – 6.5
The veteran stopper was barely called into action tonight as the Hammers attackers seemed to be in complete control. Assured when he was required and played some good passes out from the back too.
Ryan Fredericks – 7.5
The speedster didn’t get forward quite as much as his opposite number but did offer himself on the overlap when he was needed. Played in a sensational ball for the Hammers’ fourth.
Issa Diop – 7
The young centre-half was at the top of his game during the tie as he was at the end of most attacks that Norwich City produced. Made multiple sensational clearances at the back.
Angelo Ogbonna – 6.5
The big defender put in a solid performance at the back for the Hammers tonight as he dealt with several crosses that the Canaries attackers put into the box.
Aaron Cresswell – 7.5
The full-back had an extremely influential first-half to the fixture and continued to bombard forward all through the second period as well. Played some neat crosses into the Norwich City box too.
Tomas Soucek – 8
The midfielder’s presence has forced Mark Noble into a more advanced role. He was the Hammers’ attacking catalyst tonight and came close to finding the net on a couple of occasions as well.
Declan Rice – 7
The youngster was deployed in his usual holding midfield role tonight and was the first line of defence in front of the Hammers’ back-line. Linked up effectively with the rest of the attackers.
Mark Noble – 8.5
The Englishman was operating out of the number ten role tonight, as he acted as the main link between the Hammers’ defence and attack lines. Wasn’t able to create too much though.
Jarrod Bowen – 9
The January signing was excellent down the right flank tonight as he linked up superbly with Antonio in the final third. Played some decent passes into the box and came extremely close to scoring too.
Michail Antonio – 10
The Englishman was at the top of his game tonight, as he gave the uncomfortable Norwich City defenders a torrid time at the back. Ran riot upfront and scored four goals during the ninety.
Pablo Fornals – 7
The Spaniard made some good advances into Norwich territory in the first half and played some decent crosses into the area too. Didn’t have the impact he might’ve been hoping for in the final third though.
