Arsenal are ready to splurge the cash on potential Liverpool target Andrea Belotti. They are set to offer €35 million to Torino for the services of the young striker.
Liverpool have been watching the youngster for quite a while. Belotti arrived from Palermo last year and has been very impressive throughout this season. The 22-year old has already found the net eight times and has assisted four times in this season.
His goal scoring prowess has caught the eye of Liverpool boss who is very adamant to add a striker after Daniel Sturridge has failed to impress him.
Belotti recently got a call up for the Italy national team. The youngster has a contract till 2021 and it will be not easy to lure him from Torino.
For Arsenal, Olivier Giroud has been very inconsistent while new arrival Lucas Perez has been ruled out for a lengthy period after he sustained an injury. Although Wenger has Alexis Sanchez who is playing as a makeshift striker, Wenger knows the importance of a goal poaching forward in this long season. However, he will face stiff competition from Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund.
