Real Madrid will face Valencia tomorrow as they look to mount pressure on Barcelona at the top of the table. In their last encounter versus Eibar, we saw Los Blancos achieve a 3-1 win, albeit with a scare in the second half. Zidane will be looking to secure another win against his old foes and secure all three points. As his team gets ready for the encounter, we take a look at the players that could be deployed tomorrow by the French manager.
4-3-3 Real Madrid predicted lineup Vs Valencia
Defence
At the goalkeeping slot, the Madrid side will be deploying Thibaut Courtois. The Belgian was tested a few times in his last match, and the way that he was beaten would not please Zidane. However, the ex Chelsea man would be expected to man the goal again.
The back four of Real Madrid should consist of Ramos, Varane, Mendy and Carvajal. While we do not expect any changes in the back two, apparently Marcelo did look tired after scoring the goal and thus would be expected to sit out for this encounter. Mendy is the ideal candidate to take up his place. At the right-back position, Carvajal would again be asked to take the field.
Midfield
Kroos and Casemiro should be in the starting eleven for the match, and the German would again hope to make a mark this time after his opening goal in the previous game. Casemiro would be a shield in front of the back four, and his performance could be a key factor for the side this time. However, we expect Modric to sit out in this match and Valverde to take up his place. The Uruguayan has done brilliantly so far this season and thus deserves a chance in this match after his cameo appearance last time.
Forward
While Benzema would again be entrusted to lead the line for the Madrid based club, Hazard’s unselfish performance on the left side should ensure that the Belgian would again be fielded this time. In the last match, Rodrygo was a disappointment for the team, and thus Vinicius Junior could start in this encounter at the right side of the attack. Gareth Bale could again be called from the bench at a late stage to try and make an impact in the game as the Welshman seems to be at the last stages of his career with the Spanish side.
