According to Sky Italia (as cited by AS), the Italian gaffer has also said that the Dortmund man would thrive under the stewardship of Jürgen Klopp.
What would Haaland add to the Liverpool side?
The Norwegian is currently, without any doubt, one of the best forwards in the world. His performances for Red Bull Salzburg were already breathtaking, but his displays for Dortmund have been out of the world.
He has proven that he can fit into any side with ease and take the overall quality of the squad a notch higher. Liverpool are no exception, and the 19-year-old would make the Reds a much better unit. Jürgen Klopp has been a great mentor for the talented young players throughout his career, and under him, Haaland could also surpass himself.
Were Liverpool right in not going for Haaland?
