Liverpool set to renew their interest in Christian Pulisic of Borussia Dortmund. The Reds tried to sign the attacking midfielder with a bid of £11 million on the deadline day but the German club turned it down.
Pulisic has established himself in the first eleven at the expense of Marco Reus who has been warming up at the bench after coming from an injury. Liverpool have been in devastating form in this season as they haven’t lost a match in the Premier League since a 2-0 lost in the hand of Burnley.
Pulisic is happy at the Signal Iduna Park and Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said that they are trying to offer him a new contract to fend off interest from other clubs. The USA international has improved a lot at the German club who has a host of attacking players with the likes of Shinji Kagawa, Andre Schurrle and Ousmane Dembele.
Dortmund are very reluctant to let go one of their prized asset whose contract is set to expire in 2019 but Liverpool could test their resolve as they have money to spend having recorded a negative net spend this past summer.
