Henrikh Mkhitaryan is very determined to prove his credentials after a not so good start to his Manchester United career. Mkhitaryan replaced Marcus Rashford in the Europa League match against Fenerbahce but couldn’t reproduce his Dortmund form as United lost to the Turkish side 2-1.
Mkhitaryan made his first appearance in almost two months after sustaining an injury when he was on national duty with Armenia. Mkhitaryan arrived from Borussia Dortmund in this season but hasn’t been impressive although he had a very limited game time at United. His season has not gone that way United supporters would have hoped.
Mkhitaryan is very keen to prove himself in the United shirt. The 27-year-old playmaker, who was recently appointed as the goodwill ambassador for UNICEF in Armenia said, “It is true that I get little time on the field, but I am not going to give in. I went a long way to play in Manchester United, so nothing will prevent me from achieving my dream. I will not retreat, I will find the strength to reach my goal.”
