Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is holding off a new contract as he wants a huge pay rise to commit his future to the North London club. A host of players including Kyle Walker, Eric Dier and Danny rose recently signed a contract extension to extend their stay with the club.
Lloris was signed from Lyon in 2012 and went on to prove himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League. The French keeper has a contract till 2019 and signed a new contract two seasons ago worth £80,000 a week. But the keeper is very eager to sign a new deal and wants a huge pay rise to his current wage.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is known for his strict wage structure and he is very reluctant not to pay more than £100,000 a week to the 29-year-old custodian. Lloris could earn double his wage in any other club and it looks like Spurs have to break the bank if they really want the keeper to stay at the club.
Spurs are also negotiating a new contract with striker Harry Kane.
