Leeds United travelled to take on Brentford in hopes of ending their bad run of form. They played out a 1-1 draw against the Bees even though they dominated most of the game.
The Whites started strongly, but an absolute howler from Kiko Casilla allowed the home team to take the lead as the Spanish goalkeeper failed to collect a simple pass. The Whites equalised through Liam Cooper who stabbed the ball in from close quarters from a corner. United once again had more possession and more shots on target, but they had to be satisfied with the one point. However, the overall performance should be applauded. Here is how the fans on Twitter reacted.
Casilla has been in the firing line for some time, and this is how fans reacted to hearing the team news. In hindsight, it was clearly understandable why most of the fans were worried about him starting again.

Casilla’s mistake was understandably a significant talking point.
If only THE ENTIRE FANBASE could have warned Bielsa to drop him!!

The end for him was about a month ago

Some fans seemed to have enough of Casilla. Maybe its time for Bielsa to unleash Meslier in goal from the next game.
Would be winning if it wasn't for the clown in goal 3rd game in a row it looks like he will cost us points. Cost us the playoff semis last year as well how many chances does one guy get?????

Returning to the team after suspension, Kalvin Phillips had a definite impact in the way Leeds played.
Phillips has had an absolute blinder in that half

Phillips is so pivotal to our entire system. Wins every tackle and makes that transition from defence to attack so rapid and smooth.

Signed with a big reputation, Costa continued to disappoint.

Once again, the Whites struggled to finish off moves, and their finishing was questioned.
Do any of this team actually practice finishing????

Some fans seemed happy to take a point away from home against a promotion rival. However, with Fulham breathing down Leeds’ neck, the Whites could slip out of the automatic promotion spots if the Cottagers win against Millwall.
Take that all day long Phil! Should be a big shot in the arm for Saturday now! Phillips is absolutely key to all this, along with Dallas at the back. 👍🏼

Take a point. Stops the rot and stops Brentford.

One fan saw it as a glass half empty.
