According to a recent report by Bild, Red Bull Leipzig forward Timo Werner wants to play in the Premier League and prefers to move to Liverpool despite Chelsea also showing interest in acquiring his services. The same source has also revealed that the German international’s current contract with Leipzig will run out in the summer of 2023, but it also includes an initial release clause of €60m which should decrease with each year.
