Philippe Coutinho has emerged a target for Barcelona and Liverpool reportedly have valued the Brazilian at around £68m.
Since his arrival from Inter Milan, Coutinho has been one of the most influential players for Liverpool. He reinvented himself in this season as he recorded five goals and five assists in all competitions for The Reds.
An offer from Barcelona is imminent in January for Coutinho who has a contract till 2020. Liverpool are trying to tie down the midfielder at the club by offering him improved terms.
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly also interested in the attacking midfielder after failing to land Neymar. They reportedly made a bid of £23m for him which was immediately turned down by the Merseyside club.
Barcelona are unlikely to spend such amount for the Brazilian as the trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar have been in blazing form. If Liverpool do opt to sell him at the given price it would be the fifth most expensive signings of all-time after Paul Pogba, Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuaín.
