AC Milan are the frontrunners to land Ajax midfielder Riechedly Bazoer. Liverpool and Arsenal have also expressed their interest in the 20-year old but reports suggest that Milan have made contact with Bazoer’s representatives.
Bazoer started his career with PSV Eindhoven and switched to Ajax in 2012. He broke into the Ajax first team in 2013 and already has made 51 Eredivisie appearances for the Dutch team.
The midfielder has had a limited number of games this season after the arrival of new boss Peter Bosz and his brother who also happens to be his agent is reportedly searching potential suitors for his brother who has been touted as the next ‘Patrick Vieira’.
Milan have been rejuvenated under new coach Vincenzo Montella after a string of impressive performances and are right now in the 3rd place of the Serie A table.
Ajax chief Marc Overmars has made it clear that he is yet to receive a formal offer for the transfer of the player, however. Milan have to shell at least £20million if they want to bring the player to San Siro with Juventus are also reportedly interested in the player.
