Defence
Paulo Gazzaniga will retain his place in between the sticks for Spurs as Hugo Lloris is still sidelined due to injury. The Argentine goalie will hope to keep a clean sheet against the Hammers, but it won’t be easy, so he might have to pull off a few saves at the back.
The defensive pair of Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld might get the nod to start at the heart of the Tottenham backline. They will need to keep things stable in defence and find a way to cope with Sebastien Haller’s threat this weekend.
Serge Aurier could get the nod to operate as the right-back while Ben Davies looks to make some driving runs from the left-back position. The Spurs defence has been quite leaky this season which has led to Pochettino’s sacking. Midfield
Both Tanguy Ndombele and Harry Winks might get the opportunity to play as the anchormen in midfield. The dynamic duo will be responsible for breaking down the West Ham attacks and feeding the ball to the front players on the counter.

Christian Eriksen and Moussa Sissoko will have to settle for a spot on the bench but might get to influence the game in the second half if required. However, Erik Lamela will definitely miss out due to injury.

Harry Kane will lead the line for the visiting team up top. The English striker has had a dip in form in recent weeks so he would be desperate to get his name on the scoresheet this weekend. Troy Parrott will play as a back-up to the talismanic frontman on the Spurs bench.
