AC Milan could buy Mario Pasalic permanently from Chelsea. The midfielder is on a season-long loan from Chelsea and made his debut recently in a 1-0 win over Pescara. His performance has earned rave reviews from AC Milan boss Vincenzo Montella. The Rossoneri are currently placed third in the Serie A table and have been rejuvenated under the new boss.
AC Milan has a number of versatile midfielders including Manuel Locatelli, Juraj Kucka, Andrea Bertolacci and Giacomo Bonaventura. After Ricardo Montolivo’s injury, the competition has turned fierce in the Milan midfield and Pasalic has to work very hard if he wants a regular place in the starting lineup.
Chelsea sent the midfielder as they want to have him some first team playing minutes. He was signed from Hajduk Split in 2014 and also had a brief loan spell with Elche and Monaco.
His agent claimed that a deal could be possible in January, “If Milan can buy him in January? It’s a situation that could happen, but it’s for the English club to decide. It’s a bit early to talk about this.”
