Rangers kicked off their Europa League campaign with a 1-0 win over Feyenoord at Ibrox. Next, they will travel to Stade de Suisse to take on Young Boys. The Swiss heavyweights featured in the Champions League last season so one can expect a tough night in the offing for the Gers.
However, Steven Gerrard’s men have punched above their weight in Europe since the Liverpool legend took over as the manager at the Ibrox. Even a point in this clash will be considered as a positive result for the Glaswegian outfit. With the other team in the group being Porto, Rangers will be aware that they might need to get something from this game. Meanwhile, Young Boys succumbed to a 2-1 defeat against Porto in their first group stage game in the UEFA Europa League. We think that Helander might get the nod to start at the back in this clash. Borna Barisic has managed to turn the tide, and he will feature as the left-back. Captain James Tavernier will be a sure-shot starter as the right fullback.
Midfield
Steven Davis has put in some impressive performances for the Gers so far this season, so he is likely to continue in midfield. Ryan Jack has been relentless with his performances, and he is expected to feature once again. Greg Stewart had a terrific game against the Dons, but Glen Kamara could get the nod ahead of him to start in the middle.
