Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimović found the backing from midfielder Ander Herrera after they drew a blank against Burnley.
United put in a dominating display against the Clarets but couldn’t get past Burnley keeper Tom Heaton. The 30-year-old made a number of outstanding saves to deny Manchester United from a sure shot win. United had 37 attempts on goal but failed to convert any of them.
The Spaniard midfielder who recently got his Spain call-up is confident that Zlatan will be a hit at United, “I think if one player can get back and pass this moment it’s him because of his attitude, his character, the way he works.
“I have no doubt he is going to score a lot of goals for us.”
Zlatan started his United career in a very good manner but he hasn’t managed a goal in the last six matches. Herrera went on to add, “But it is not only him — we have missed a lot of chances, not only him. He is giving us a lot of things for the team. Some of the chances we created came because of him, so we cannot tell him anything.”
United will next travel to Turkey to play Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
