PSG and Real Madrid have locked horns in this competition several times. Their last meeting was in the 2017/18 season where Real Madrid emerged victorious in a Round of 16 clash. The two European heavyweights promise a delightful game of football when the two face off twice in the group stage of Europe’s elite club competition.
The French Champions would be aiming to come out on top in this group with the two sides set to clash next week at the Parc des Princes.
Club Brugge
Club Brugge are a Belgian club based in Bruges, Belgium. The side made their way into the group stages after qualifying through the qualifiers after beating Dynamo Kiev and the Austrian team, LASK. Club Brugge have earned their spot in the UEFA Champions League group stages and will not go down without a firm fight.
The third spot is most likely to be battled out between Galatasaray and Club Brugge. The third spot gets a direct place in the knock out stages of the UEFA Europa League.
Galatasaray
The Turkish side, Galatasaray are the fourth team in Group A. The Turkish champions had a poor stint in Europe last time around after being relegated to the UEFA Europa League and then facing elimination from there at the hands of Benfica.
Real Madrid and Galatasaray have met in the Champions League group stages on numerous occasions before. The last time the two sides were drawn together in the group stages, Real Madrid topped the group and even went on to win the UEFA Champions League title during the 2013/14 season.
