Manchester City will play hosts to Brighton and Hove Albion at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday looking to make it two wins on the spin in the Premier League. The Citizens will come into this clash at the back of a 3-1 win away at Bournemouth last weekend.
Pep Guardiola’s side are in an excellent run of form and will fancy their chances of claiming all three points against the Seagulls. The Mancunian outfit will lineup in a 4-3-3 formation with Rodri expected to return to Guardiola’s first-team this weekend.

Defence
Ederson will start in goal for the Citizens despite shipping in three goals in his past two starts in the Premier League. The Brazil international will need help from Nicolas Otamendi and Aymeric Laporte as the centre-back pair looks to step up to the challenge and keep the Seagulls at bay on Saturday.
Kyle Walker will operate as the right-back as he tries to put in a tireless shift down the right flank. Oleksandr Zinchenko should start on the other side in the left-back position. Joao Cancelo is expected to be a part of Guardiola’s bench and might come on during the encounter if required.
The Citizens defenders will need to keep a clean sheet so that they can build a solid platform for the front players to go all out in search of a victory against Graham Potter’s men this weekend.
Midfield
Guardiola could decide to go with the midfield three of David Silva, Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne. The talented trio will look to dictate proceedings and establish the home team’s dominance in the middle of the park. Both Fernandinho and Phil Foden are expected to be a part of the Man City bench and might come on to make an impact in the game if needed.
Attack
Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva will look to stretch the pitch as the wide players while Sergio Aguero spearheads the Man City attack up top.
