According to a recent report by the Daily Mail, Liverpool are keeping tabs on West Bromwich Albion teen sensation Rayhaan Tulloch ahead of a potential move in the future. However, the same source has also mentioned that the Reds will face stiff competition from Brighton and Hove Albion and Swansea City in pursuit of the English prospect.
The Rapid Rise Of Rayhaan Tulloch
The 18-year-old is a rising star in English football who had joined the Baggies at an early age before graduating from their academy. He is currently an integral member of the West Brom Under-23 side and is on the verge of breaking out as a first-team starter at the Hawthorns.
However, Tulloch is yet to make a senior appearance for the West Midlands outfit but has the potential to become a world-class forward someday. At such a tender age, the English whizkid has already managed to earn 28 appearances in the Premier League 2, scoring three goals while grabbing three assists.
The EFL Championship youth prospect enjoyed a prolific run of form at the Under-18 level, registering 18 goals while creating six assists in the U-18 Premier League. He has also represented England at various youth levels and is currently a crucial member of the English U-17 side. Tulloch featured in 14 matches for them while finding the back of the net two times thus far.
What Does The English Youngster Offer On The Pitch?
The Baggies starlet is highly versatile as he can operate in multiple positions across the frontline. He primarily likes to play as a secondary striker but can also fill in on either wing as a wide player if required. Tulloch is speedy and agile in the final third which makes him such a potent goal-threat up top. He can make some intelligent runs behind the opposition backline and can be a lethal presence in the offensive end of the field.
Tulloch has incredible potential and could become a world-class player in the future. However, he is still quite raw, which means that Liverpool would have to provide him with a nurturing environment at Kirkby if they want to reap the rewards from his talents in the years to come.
Is Tulloch A Prospect For The Future?
The West Brom academy graduate will undoubtedly bolster Liverpool’s youth ranks if they can find a way to bring him to Merseyside. Jurgen Klopp has shown in the past that he is willing to give the academy players a chance in his first-team if they can prove their worth in the training ground. There is no doubt that Tulloch is a prospect for the future who could thrive while playing as an understudy to Rhian Brewster at Anfield.
