Leicester City walked away with the title last season defying all the odds but have struggled badly for wins this season. It was Spurs who pushed the Foxes for the title for major parts of the season but in the end, it was Ranieri who had the last laugh while the Lilywhites faltered badly, in the end, finishing third in a two-horse race. Things have changed a lot this season with Leicester City not even there in the top half and Tottenham Hotspur still being the only unbeaten team in the League.
Claudio Ranieri’s boys’ form in the Champions League and in the Premier League have been chalk and cheese this season. They have won all their three Champions League encounters this season but have struggled for wins in the Premier League and have collected just 11 points from nine games.
Spurs are not in their best shape right now having been winless in four games in all competitions. The Foxes are on the back of an impressive 3-1 win against Crystal Palace and another win can kick-start their Premier League campaign.
Here is the predicted Leicester City lineup against Spurs.
Defence
Danish international Kasper Schmeichel will start under the bar ahead of Ron-Robert Zieler. Danny Simpson will start at right-back.
The duo of Wes Morgan and Robert Huth have not done well this season at the heart of the defence. Their performance at the back was one of the key reasons why the Foxes won the title last time out. Claudio Ranieri will still keep faith in the experienced duo against Spurs.
Christian Fuchs will keep his place at left-back and will be looking to cause trouble to Spurs with his attacking forays.
