Burnley boss Sean Dyche has told Chelsea that they don’t have any intention of selling Michael Keane and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte must now look elsewhere to strengthen his backline.
Michaele Keane has been linked to Chelsea with Antonio Conte planning to revamp his defence and are ready to offer £25m for the defender. The 23 year old versatile central defender who can be also deployed to the right side of the defence , recently got a call up by Gareth Southgate for England. The Manchester United academy product, who has been brilliant for the Clarets, has signed for them permanently last year after spending a season on loan with them.
Sean Dyche said, “We’re fortunate in that we don’t have to sell, the good side of us being careful is that we’re in a very healthy financial position. Whatever the price, we don’t have to sell.”
But football is a game of uncertainties and only time will tell if Burnley are able to hold on to him.
