However, Spurs would be a tough proposition for them as they will look to do well in their first European match at their new stadium. Pep Guardiola is expected to stick with his favoured 4-3-3 formation and might be inclined to hand Sergio Aguero a start as he is closing in on a return from his injury. While reports say that he is still not guaranteed to start as he has not yet recovered from his injury, we believe that he would be fit enough by tomorrow to make a start.

Defence
Ederson Moraes will start in goal for the Citizens after securing three consecutive clean sheets against Fulham, Cardiff City and Brighton & Hove Albion respectively. The Brazilian keeper will be protected by the reliable centre-half duo of John Stones and Aymeric Laporte.
Kyle Walker will look to use his pace and agility down the right flank while Danilo operates on the other side as the left-back. Both full-backs need to have a good game if they are to stop Spurs from dominating possession on the wide areas.
Man City’s defensive record has been stellar in recent weeks so Guardiola would hope that his defenders can keep up the same level of high performance on Tuesday night.
Midfield

The Citizens frontline would consist of Sergio Aguero spearheading Guardiola’s attack up front. The Argentine striker is a slight doubt for this game but he should recover in time to start in this match. Both Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva will look to stretch the pitch on the flanks.
Guardiola might opt to use the services of Gabriel Jesus and Leroy Sane from the bench if Man City need a goal in the second half.
