Rangers could only manage a hard-fought draw with Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup quarter-final match. It was an intensely fought encounter between the two sides at the Pittodrie, but neither team could get the better of the other in this crucial clash.
Aberdeen were the first to take the advantage as Sam Cosgrove scored from the spot to get his side early in the lead. However, defender Joe Worrall was the saviour for his team with a goal in the 49th minute. The scoreline remained the same until the final whistle, with the two sides set to take on each other in a rematch that will be played at the Ibrox.
Here is how the Rangers players were rated from their draw against Aberdeen.
Allan McGregor: 6
Did not have much to do with the Aberdeen strikers being wayward with their efforts throughout the match. Made a few regulation saves though.
James Tavernier: 7
Solid defensive performance from the skipper as he tried to get the better of McLennan and Lowe throughout the match. Delivered some good balls into the box as well with no one to take advantage of them.
Conor Goldson: 7
Contributed well to keep his side out of trouble once the goal was scored. Looked solid in the heart of the defence, especially in the second half.
Joe Worrall: 7
Calm and composed performance by the centre back. Topped it off with an excellent finish to get his side to the rematch at the Ibrox.
Borna Barisic: 6
After a lacklustre first half, looked defensively solid in the second half. His darting runs down the left flank created problems for the opposition. However, the finishing was lacking from him throughout the match.
Ryan Jack: 7
Vied fearlessly for the ball throughout the match against the Aberdeen midfielders. Kept the ball well for his side.
Daniel Candeias: 6
Gave away the ball on a few occasions as he looked to build the attack from the midfield. Delivered a few good passes in the box though.
Glen Kamara: 5
Could not capitalise on the loose balls by the Aberdeen midfielders. Did not do much to get the ball into the box.
Scott Arfield: 6
Lacklustre performance from the veteran midfielder as he could not deliver the lethal passes to find Morelos. Kept the possession of the ball in the midfield well though.
Ryan Kent: 7
Tried his level best to get the ball in the box with his accurate passes. Deceived the opposition with his classy footwork on numerous occasions.
Alfredo Morelos: 6
Had a surprisingly quiet match as the Aberdeen defenders kept him under check. Took a couple of shots on goal but could not do any harm to the opposition.
